Fatima House Orphanage in Fondwa
The Little Sisters of St. Antoine of Fondwa, Haiti in conjunction with the Association of Peasants of Fondwa (APF) are an indigenous Catholic community of Haitian religious women under the joint leadership of Sr. Claudette Prevot and Sr. Simon Achille. In addition to directing the St. Antoine Elementary and Secondary School and a primary care medical clinic, the Sisters operate Fatima House Orphanage, a home for more than 65 at risk and orphaned children. RIM contributes to the general operating fund of the orphanage to meet the basic needs of these children so that they can attend school through secondary and – in some cases – even attend university.
